I've really been digging the color red lately. And oddly enough, it's not a color that I don't have much of in my closet. I don't know if it's the way it looks with my darker hair or I've just gotten so pale that it finally looks okay with my skin tone, but I really want to buy everything in shades of red now.
This top is one of the most comfortable plaid shirts I've ever owned and it has high slits on the sides which makes it perfect for tucking in. I'm a big fan of front-tucking and this is the ideal shirt for it (even though there is no front-tucking going on with this outfit). And this swing skirt is great because it's made from a high quality wool so it's thicker and won't blow up in the wind - I can promise you that much. I've had my fair share of skirt-blowing-up-in-the-wind moments that I will not buy flimsy skirts anymore. No sir.
