Layers and Leather

I teamed up with one of my favorite stores, Piperlime, to style one of my favorite winter looks: leather pants with some fun layering on top. If you haven't heard, Piperlime recently released a new collection of their own and I'm a big fan. It's very chic and very affordable. Take a peek here.

Back to my outfit. I'm convinced I've found THE best leather pants on the market. These are "crackled" so when you look very close they almost look like alligator print. And they are extremely comfortable and have a very sturdy button + zip closure. Most leather pants/leggings I see (or have previously owned) have only a zip closure or a sewn-on button closure. Both of which never really make me feel that secure. This sweatshirt is a wonderful layering piece (I'm always on the lookout for these) because it's a basic color - meaning it will go with anything - and it has adorable appliques that give it a little bit of extra personality. Plus it's a long sweatshirt - not short like most. And I love this one too.
