The weather was AMAZING last weekend in Dallas thanks to a generous cold front and I finally got a much anticipated taste of fall. With my husband being from Minnesota and me just a big fan of cold weather, we decided to get out and enjoy this dip in the temperatures. So, we headed to our favorite coffee shop for some lattes and then we took a little stroll through Highland Park Village.
Dressing for fall weather is all about layers in my book. It gives you a put-together look in a roundabout way and you always have the option to lose layers if you need to. Another layering favorite of mine is pairing a sweater over a button-up top for a classic American look.
I talked about my must-have fall trends in this previous post and duster cardigans definitely made the cut. The one I'm wearing above is incredibly soft and it's going to be extremely versatile all season long. It's also not too heavy so it makes for the perfect layering piece.
