Gameday Outfits

With Football Season officially here, I can visualize girls all over the country standing in their closets asking themselves "what should I wear to the game?" Living in Dallas and growing up in a city obsessed with football, I've been to my fair share of football games. And if you've been reading my blog for a while, you know how obsessed I am with the New England Patriots. So, I thought it would be fun to create a few outfit ideas should you be planning on attending an NFL or College football game this weekend or this year.

Let's talk about the Trendy outfit...
The NFL top is perfect for games and you'll definitely stand out in a crowd of jerseys. Going to a college game? There are great NFL and College vintage-looking graphic tees here. The olive jacket is casual enough to wear to a game and trendy enough to throw on with a dress.  Jeans are a must for football games. Skirts and dresses will make you look a little silly (unless you go to Oklahoma State and you're wearing an orange dress with cowboy boots. Go pokes.) A small over-the-shoulder purse is essential. It will fit everything you could possible need at a game: your phone, lipstick, tickets, money and gum. You really don't need more than that. The grey booties are a must-have for this fall and winter, but they're also a great option to wear to football games. They give you a little height without hurting your feet after standing or walking for a long period of time.

Now let's talk about the SuperFan outfit...
If you're a huge football fan like me, this outfit is for you. The jersey shows your undying love and support for your favorite player. (I love you, Tom!) The athletic jacket matches your team colors but will also keep you warm if you're at an outdoor stadium. The flat over-the-knee boots are perfect for when you're jumping up and down watching your team score or stomping in frustration at another turnover (not to mention they are only $99!). The jeans, again, are a must and this pair happens to be my current favorite destroyed denim. The Dior lip balm is perfect to swipe on every quarter after yelling profusely at the refs. The leopard clutch is perfect for your small number of essentials previously mentioned above and it's easy to hold onto while you're jumping up from/sitting down in your seat.
