I've teamed up with my favorite Dallas boutique, Milk & Honey, to style a few looks from their collection. And I have to say, I had a blast putting these looks together. First up is a quintessential summer look for me. There's no end in sight to this heat here in Texas, so cut-off shorts, a basic tank and a sheer kimono are the perfect mix to keep me cool and fashionable.
A bright kimono with vibrant patterns can really go a long way over basics. When accessorizing, I chose pieces that pulled out different colors from the kimono. And then, of course, I added an obligatory pop of leopard with my clutch. Voila! Since I had so much color on top, I kept the shoes neutral. You can never own too many pairs of nude shoes.
The good thing about these pieces is their transition quality. You could wear this super comfortable tank into late fall by throwing a chunky knit cardigan over it. Not to mention you could sport it all year long at the gym. The kimono could be paired over a long sleeve cotton dress or a light weight sweater and trousers. The possibilities are really endless.
Check back later this week for my next look!
