Texas Flair

Texas fashion is completely and utterly unique. You can go to a charity event and you'll see a man in cowboy boots, starched jeans and a gallon hat next to a betty in head-to-toe Dior and it's completely normal. Growing up in Oklahoma, I clearly have acquired a fair share of cowboy boots and plaid shirts, which helped me fit right in when I moved to Dallas. Not to mention that in Texas (and most of the south), cowboy boots go with everything.

I've thrown on this outfit (alternating the tops) several times throughout my pregnancy. The dress is comfortable and super stretchy, and I've gotten so much use out of my excessive amount of plaid shirts by wearing them open like this.

When in doubt, throw on plaid.

"First of all, I love Texas. I love Texans... So I think it's a nice thing to go there."
- Karl Lagerfeld on staging a Chanel show in Dallas.
