Well, it happened. I finally had the inevitable 'nothing-fits-me-and-I-look-like-a-whale' meltdown. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE being pregnant and I feel so blessed to be carrying a sweet baby boy - but I do miss my patterned jeans and bright J.Crew pencil skirts. I also miss getting all dolled up in a cute, girly dress - especially when it feels amazing outside. Well, after making a mess of my closet and (almost) giving up all pregnant-fashionista hope, I decided to go to my happy place: Anthropologie. Not only does the store smell like heaven, it legitimately has a great selection of non-maternity maternity clothes. I think it's the boho-chic style and loose-fitting aesthetic that makes it work so well.

Case in point, I found this dress there. I repeatedly prayed in the dressing room for it to fit as I was trying it on - and it fit - really comfortably, might I add. And it's completely comfortable enough to last me through the rest of my pregnancy. It was exactly what I was wanting - not to mention it's 100% something you couldn't find at a maternity store.

*Another way to cheer up quick - fresh flowers. My all-time-favorite: mix-and-match roses.

  1. If you are petite, expect to have to have dresses bought online fitted, but that would be the only thing, I didn't even need to wear a corset underneath.

  2. You are the cutest!!! Love that dress & those bright colors on you!

  3. What a beautiful spring dress! And I am obsessed with your bag too!
