New Year, New Jen

For those of you that have been here before, thank you for coming back. If this is your first time to WWJW, welcome! I hope you have a fun time reading my blog and I hope I can inspire you to have a little more fun dressing up the next time you step foot in your closet.

I've been wanting to develop my fashion blog for a long time now, but I've always found myself so busy with work, friends, family, volunteering, traveling... there was always something. But even in the midst of the whirlwind that is my life, I've never stopped thinking about my blog and what it could be one day. So, one night a few months ago, I told myself I was going to do it -- no matter how busy I am, no matter what state I'm in, I'm going to devote myself to what I love and that is fashion. Crazy, fun, bright, colorful fashion. And I can't think of a better time to follow my dream than in 2014.

Oh, and there is also one small thing I should mention. My husband and I are expecting a sweet little baby this May, so for the next five months you will see my belly growing and growing... and growing. Being pregnant is something that also encouraged me to re-launch my blog, because I know there are so many beautiful women out there who are with child and have no idea what to wear. And trust me, I've had mornings where I've sat in my closet while tears welled up in my eyes because nothing fit and nothing went together and I felt like a whale -- and I know I'm not alone in that. So, I think this is also a great opportunity to show how fun it can be to dress while pregnant and still hit all of the trends... and look like a really cute whale while doing it.

Now for the important stuff... The outfit.
I wish I could say this was my New Year's Eve outfit but my husband and I were in bed at 9:30. Fell asleep by 10:00, then miraculously woke up at 11:56 only to stay up for 4 minutes, say, "Happy New Year," kiss and fall back asleep.

Sequin Jacket - S.Y.L.K.
Oversized Silk Tank - Nordstrom BP (in cotton)
Maxi Skirt - Zara (old)
Shoes - Zara (old)

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you continue to visit, get inspired, ask me questions, find me on social media... I could go on and on. The fashion blogger community is such an amazing place to meet like-minded girls and guys who are so supportive and encouraging. There's nothing else like it and I'm excited to be able to be a part of it.

Happy New Year!

"Follow your Dreams."
