I'm slowly but surely getting better at taking pictures of my outfits everyday. Let me rephrase that... I'm slowly getting better at making people take pictures of my outfits everyday. I may get some really weird looks during the process, but... who cares, right? My husband does the grunt of it, but I keep finding myself asking whoever I'm with to take a picture of me and my outfit. Is this the beginning of my own form of narcissism? No no, not at all. I'm just going to keep believing that I know a good outfit when I see one and I'm simply sharing styling tips, fabulous finds and favorite brands with my blog readers.

Anyway, here are a few of my favorite outfits from the past couple of weeks.

Top: Zara | Pants: J.Crew | Boots: Tory Burch | Bag: Tory Burch
This is one of my favorite looks because.. it's balanced - oversize on top, tight on bottom. It's completely effortless, I feel comfortable in it, and I could literally wear it to any type of outing. And because I don't feel like myself when I'm not wearing color, I threw in my bright orange tote.

Jacket, Blouse, Skirt: J.Crew (old) | Heels: JSimpson | Purse: Tory Burch (old)
Someone needs to stop me next time I buy something pink from J.Crew. It's no secret why I love this outfit - it's ALL pink! This was my first stab at the monochromatic trend, and I have to say, I'm digging it. Although I did go with neutral heels, I didn't want to get too monochromatic.

Me - Beanie: BDG | Blazer: Express (old) | Tee: UO (similar) | Tights: Zara | Wedges: Zara (old)
Sister - Sweater: Zara (old) | Tank: F21 | Denim: Zara | Sneakers: Target
I love mixing styles - in this case - girly & hipster. I don't think I could ever go 100% hipster for fear of looking like a boy, or worse - looking dirty. So, whenever an outfit starts to look a little too boyish I'll always throw on high heels or wedges. My sister Kari (on the right) is the one that can totally pull off the hipster look and still be 100% girly. I don't know how she does it.

Necklace: J.Crew (sold out) | Blazer: BCBG (old) | Dress: Zara (old) | Heels: ASOS | Clutch: J.Crew (old)
It's too bad you can't see my leopard clutch in this picture because I always love making the point that leopard goes with everything. I love this outfit because it's dressy without being stuffy. The feather shoes add just the perfect flair, and with the blazer, they give the outfit balance. I'm big on balance.

Hat: J.Crew | Scarf: Zara (old) | Top: J.Crew | Denim: Old Navy - Rockstar
I love this outfit because it's so casual and fun at the same time. I obviously love pairing leopard with everything, but I really like the way it looks next to stripes, especially on this top. The mix of colors was perfect. Add in flats (which I rarely ever wear) and a Panama hat and this was the perfect Brunch/Sunday Funday outfit.

  7. Love the first white top. Clicking over to Zara I saw it was a scoop neck. Did you wear it backwards? Or is yours a different cut?
