Although I believe sequins are always a good idea, the span of time between Thanksgiving and New Years Eve seems to be the most socially acceptable time to wear them. And since we happen to be right in the middle of that timeframe, I thought I'd bring out my new sparkly sequin tunic in the middle of the day; in the middle of downtown Oklahoma City. My rule with sequins is to clearly keep the rest of your outfit very minimal. I rarely even accessorize when I wear sequins. Maybe that's why I like wearing them so much -- because I am just not a big fan of accessorizing.
This specific tunic dress has quickly become a closet favorite simply because of its quality. As you know, sequins are quite delicate and a lot of garments that include them can fall apart after a few uses. This one has a soft interior lining and the sequins are all sewn flat so you can breathe easy (and dance a little longer) knowing that they aren't going anywhere fast.
